Product Marketing Director

About the Role

SkyKick is in search of a seasoned marketer to join our team as a Director / Senior Director of Product Marketing. Your role will span initiatives across Product Marketing, Content / Marketing Strategy and Partner Channel Development.   

You are passionate, a mind-reader, and relentless, with the ability to understand and anticipate customer needs deeply and then seamlessly move between strategy and tactical execution, with a demonstrated ability to get your hands directly involved in pushing through a range of marketing programs in an entrepreneurial environment. You have a demonstrated ability to plan and implement content and marketing strategies that effectively position core products, resonate with various customer personas, and that directly impact field sales teams and external partners/customers.  You are highly analytical, capable of effectively manipulating data, and favor data-informed decision-making.

Above all, you have a desire to apply your varied experience across product marketing, engagement / loyalty, content and digital to drive the next wave of innovation in cloud computing and the IT solution space. Your work will directly contribute to helping a large and growing community of global IT solution providers to build more successful cloud practices.

What You'll be Doing:

Planning & Product Marketing Strategy

  • Drive product marketing strategy (positioning, naming, messaging, value proposition, to-partner vs. thru-partner program and content strategy)
  • Build communication plans and content strategies / plans that scale across key SkyKick and third-party channels (website, blog, social media, and beyond)
  • Develop or co-develop strategic marketing plans for specific SkyKick programs or with select assigned strategic partners/customers, that utilize best practices, historical data and other available information
  • Plan or participate in monthly, quarterly and other business reviews
  • Keep abreast of channel / industry news, partner ecosystem business models, competitive landscape and beyond
  • Track effectiveness of all assigned channel marketing programs, measuring results and sharing success with cross-functional partners

 

 

Execution, Programs & Systems

  • Create world-class core positioning, messaging and marketing core content that changes customer and industry perception and impacts sales in a meaningful way
  • Execute to and thru partner marketing campaigns across channels / media
  • Plan and produce a variety of content, including but not limited to sales enablement material, product marketing content, battlecards, to and thru partner content and other materials
  • Drive to and thru partner communications either directly or in collaboration with partner-staff
  • Provide or support training and support on tools and programs
  • Drive implementation of platforms for scalable distribution of partner enablement materials, and the ongoing management of those materials
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and external teams to support partner events
  • Create Customer Evidence, awards and incentive / appreciation programs
  • Manage or collaborate on management of partner lead generation programs
  • Create or contribute to scalable structures and processes in partner marketing management
  • Compose and drive creation of a significant quantity of content

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Marketing Experience
  • 4+ years working in a Product Marketing / Product Management Capacity
  • 3+ years in a Partner Manager capacity
  • 5+ years working in B2B marketing
  • Proven writing and content creation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing campaigns
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various internal and external audiences
  • Executive level presentation skills
  • Demonstrated partner management and business development experience
  • Highly analytical and comfortable working with data. Experience working in Excel, and BI programs preferred.
  • Detail-orientation, time / project-management skills and demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Budget management experience 
  • People management experience a plus
