SR. HR Generalist JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the daily HR operations of the organization including conducting and documenting investigations, HR systems and data management and employee relations
  • The Sr. HR Generalist provides consultation and collaboration on a wide variety of HR issues
  • Must maintain current knowledge of and ensure compliance with Federal and State employment laws
  • Interface with hospitals and understand how hospitals work
  • Investigate, interview, and resolve complex and critical issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Escalate defined matters appropriately
  • Partner with CPO or outside counsel by gathering and providing supporting documentation for various matters
  • Make independent judgments and to act on decisions on a daily basis
  • Identify and recommend appropriate process improvements to accomplish HR strategic goals
  • Serve as point of contact and provide support, guidance and direction to management

Skills that will help you succeed in this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business or related field strongly preferred
  • HR Certification (SHRM or HRCI) required
  • 5 years of related HR experience preferably within the healthcare staffing industry
    • Must have investigations/ legal laws knowledge and experience
  • Strong interest in working with people of different professional and educational backgrounds
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
  • Ability to connect and build strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs
  • Meticulous, organized and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to accurately attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs
  • Ability to work both quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
