technical Recruiter Job responsibilities

We are looking for a fast-paced, detail-oriented recruiter to join our Engineering and Manufacturing team. You will be responsible for full cycle recruiting on multiple positions at a high volume and communicating with candidates, clients and account executives on a daily basis 

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process from start to finish on open positions 
  • Interview and evaluate a high volume of candidates daily for contract or direct hire opportunities 
  • Submit candidates and follow up with client for feedback to drive results 
  • Be responsible for consistently hitting daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly performance goals and metrics  
  • Arrange interviews with clients and prospective candidates 
  • Source and screen candidates at a high volume using various programs such as Bullhorn, LinkedIn, Monster, Indeed, etc. 
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers, Account Executives and leadership to anticipate and meet hiring needs and to identify talent for open reqs 
  • Develop a strong network of candidates for placement and referrals 
  • Negotiate compensation rates to ensure successful placements 
  • Handle all inquiries with contractors, clients, payroll, compliance and other concerns. 
  • Post job descriptions for openings and track candidates in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) 
  • Perform compliance needs including processing information for payroll, background checks, drug screens and references 


  • 1+ year of experience in recruiting/sourcing/coordination strongly preferred 
  • 1+ year experience in a client service environment strongly preferred  
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelors of Science (BS) degree or equivalent experience 
  • Demonstrated motivation for success and personal growth 
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams with varying priorities (multiple job orders, varying clients) 
  • Capacity to quickly evaluate and respond to multiple requests requiring daily and hourly (and sometimes faster) response times. 
  • Desire and ability to learn various technical terms  
  • Interest in and ability to work with people from a diverse professional, technical, and educational backgrounds 
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proficient in MS Office programs and using a CMS or ATS system, etc.
